About the Role
Our Client is Hiring: .NET Developer (Azure) š Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Direct Payroll) We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and modern application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable applications and contributing to cloud-based solutions. š¹ Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. Develop and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with third-party services (SOAP knowledge is a plus). Build modern web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Angular. Implement microservices using Azure Service Fabric (stateful/stateless), VM Scale Sets (VMSS), and Load Balancers. Work extensively with Azure services such as Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cache for Redis, Event Hub, IoT Hub, and Service Bus. Develop serverless solutions using Azure Functions and deploy applications on Azure App Services. Manage source code repositories using Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins. Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM templates and PowerShell scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute cloud migration strategies (on-premise or other cloud platforms to Microsoft Azure). Ensure application security through authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth and JWT. Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Contribute to Power BI reporting and automation using PowerShell (desirable).
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core development. Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Azure Service Fabric. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem and services. Expertise in RESTful API design and development. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Solid understanding of databases including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Entity Framework/ADO.NET. Knowledge of security best practices in web and cloud development (OAuth, JWT). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
