SharePoint Developer & Migration Developer
About the Role
Our client is hiring a SharePoint Developer – Microsoft 365 & Migration (Contractual – 1 Year). This is a one-year contractual position on the direct payroll of the company. We are looking for a skilled SharePoint professional with strong experience in development, customization, migration, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration. Key Responsibilities 1. SharePoint Development & Customization Design and develop custom SharePoint web parts, features, and solutions using C# and .NET Implement client-side scripting using JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs, and SPFx for modern UI enhancements Customize SharePoint UI using SharePoint Designer and branding tools Develop and automate workflows using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate (Flow), and PowerShell 2. Migration & Upgrade Plan and execute SharePoint migrations from legacy versions (2010/2013/2016) to SharePoint Online Perform validation, verification, and troubleshooting of migrated content Utilize tools like SPMT, Content Matrix, and Azure-based solutions for migration 3. Automation & Scripting Develop PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration, automation, and post-migration validation Leverage Azure Functions and Azure SQL to extend SharePoint capabilities 4. Integration & Ecosystem Work within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform Integrate AI-driven solutions (OpenAI) with Power Automate for intelligent workflows Implement secure app-based authentication and service integrations
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint server-side development (C#, .NET, CSOM, SSOM) Expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint 2013 Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration Experience in SharePoint Designer, UI customization, and workflow automation Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, REST APIs, and SPFx Experience in SharePoint migration using SPMT, Content Matrix, and Azure VMs Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Exposure to OpenAI and Power Automate integration is an added advantage Eligibility Criteria Experience 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development and migration Educational Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications in SharePoint / Microsoft 365 / Azure Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
