Azure Migration and Devops consultant
About the Role
Our client is hiring an Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer (Contractual – 1 Year). This role is on the direct payroll of the company and is ideal for a highly skilled cloud professional with strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, migration, DevOps, and containerization. The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end cloud transformation initiatives, including migration, deployment, and automation. Key Responsibilities 1. Azure Infrastructure & Architecture Manage Azure compute, storage, and networking services including VMs, VMSS, Load Balancers, NSGs, Firewalls, Route Tables, and Private DNS Design, build, and validate Azure Landing Zones aligned with enterprise architecture and governance frameworks Implement secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud environments 2. Cloud Migration & Modernization Lead end-to-end migration of workloads from on-premises or AWS to Azure Utilize Azure Migrate for discovery, dependency mapping, replication, and cutover Implement migration strategies such as re-host, re-platform, and re-architect Manage migration tools, frameworks, and playbooks for seamless execution 3. Containerization & Kubernetes Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker Deploy, scale, and manage applications on Kubernetes (preferably Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS) Work with Kubernetes components including pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, and autoscaling Create and manage Kubernetes YAML manifests and Helm charts 4. DevOps & CI/CD Implementation Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (preferred), GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions Manage repositories, branching strategies, and pipeline governance Troubleshoot build, release, and deployment issues effectively Ensure secure pipelines, secrets management, and compliance adherence 5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates Build reusable modules and standardize environments Automate processes using PowerShell, Shell/Bash scripting, and Azure Policy 6. Azure Services Integration & Monitoring Integrate applications with Azure services such as Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, API Management, Data Factory, and SQL Managed Instance Configure monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Integrate AKS with services like ACR, Key Vault, and monitoring tools 7. AI & Advanced Capabilities Support AI agent lifecycle management and AI gateway integrations Design human–AI interaction workflows Work with Agentic-AI frameworks (preferred)
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria 5–10 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure modernization Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Monitoring, Security) Proven expertise in end-to-end cloud migration projects Required Skills Expertise in Azure Landing Zone architecture and governance frameworks Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based) Proficiency in Terraform (modules, state management, versioning) Hands-on experience with Git (branching strategies like GitFlow, trunk-based development) Strong scripting skills (PowerShell / Shell) Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, RBAC, and cost management Educational Qualification BE / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc (IT) / MCA / MBA (IT) / M.Sc (IT)
